Dear Patrons and Friends at China BIG Idea,
On September 19, Chinese Ministry of Commerce formally announced its version of the Unreliable Entity List, after a year of deliberation.
Chinese apps TikTok and WeChat will be banned from the US App Store downloads on September 20th.
Our question for the weekend:
How do you interpret the recent series of Chinese policy announcements, including this and the “double economic circulation”, and their impacts to the rest of the world?
We look forward to your comments and insights.
