Dear Patrons and Friends of China BIG Idea,
In a recent Investment Banking discussion, the questions are very much focused on seeking the positives out of a potential US-China “Cold War”.
By definition, a “Cold War” is always a better scenario than a hot war. We are interested to find out, in this weekend thread, if there are any positives for the world in the 2020’s, when an all out economic competition between the US and China becomes the state of norms.
Thank you and look forward to reading your comments.
We appreciate all your support.
It is a time for very cautious reflection by all as the inevitable recalibration takes place of the relationships between nations as they evolve and transform in response to circumstances and tectonic shifts of destiny. Dogma has no place in any rational evaluation beyond the common point that we all need to live and prosper on this one planet and that there is no other choice.
They say that new knowledge grows in spots. There will be countries and people who do not subscribe to the political lunacy caused by Populist governments in the US and the U.K. , and create their own version of an innovative and constructive future. The task for us is to find such initiatives and support them.
